The European Facial or Mini Facial are both excellent starting points for first-time patients. They are relaxing, gentle, and give our team a great baseline understanding of your skin. From there we can recommend a progression of treatments based on what your skin responds to and what goals you want to work toward.
A traditional facial relies on manual techniques and topical products. The HydraFacial uses a patented device that performs cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, and serum infusion simultaneously using a vortex suction system. It is more consistent, more deeply penetrating, and delivers more immediate results than a traditional facial. It is also gentler on the skin and has zero downtime.
It depends on the treatment. A Mini Facial can be completed in about 30 minutes. Most standard facials run 45 to 60 minutes. Dermaplaning uses a sterile surgical blade to remove the top layer of dead skin and fine vellus hair (peach fuzz) from the face. It is painless and leaves the skin exceptionally smooth. To address the most common concern: no, dermaplaning does not cause hair to grow back thicker or darker. Vellus hair does not have the same growth characteristics as terminal hair. It will grow back the same as before, and most patients notice it is barely visible between sessions.

After most standard facials you can apply light makeup the same day, though we always recommend letting your skin breathe for a few hours if possible. After dermaplaning, photofacial, or any treatment with slight sensitivity, we recommend waiting at least 24 hours before applying makeup to allow the skin to fully settle and recover.
